- Anyway, I side with Ofir on this one, Control-A is *NOT* the problem here, it
- is people deciding to erase what they have just highlighted (which just happens
- to be the entire document!). Two simple ways around this :-

- 1. Don't use that Mac/Windows style 'large cursor' idea - It isn't particularly
- bright is it? If I want to delete a block I will say delete it.... Pressing
- a key accidentally on the other hand and losing everything.... God knows how
- many essays I've cocked up in this way using WordPerfect for Windows...

- 2. Maybe Delete shouldn't be used on it's own for deleting a block? When a
- block is highlighted you should still be able to type - which means still
- being able to use Delete as well as other keys, so maybe Ctrl-Delete to
- delete a block? (Haven't got the last proposal in front of me so I can't
- check to see if I'm suggesting something that is already in place!)
